Replacement Kit



1. Remove the lamp access panel (2 Phillips screws)




2. Remove the lamp module (2 captive Phillips screws)



3. Do not touch lamp module lens



4. Remove the plug retainer (1 Phillips screw)



5. Remove the mounting plate (2 Allen screws) using the provided Allen key



6. Remove the back cover (4 Phillips screws) and the side panel (2 Phillips screws) using the provided #0 driver bit



7. Remove the boot cover



8. Remove both lamp leads (AC lamp leads have no polarity)



9. Remove lamp retainer (2 Phillips screws) using the provided #0 driver bit, and then lift the bare lamp from the bezel of the lamp module assembly



10. Replace bare lamp with genuine Osram P-VIP replacement lamp.


11. Line up the single Notch on the lamp reflector with the Hole In The Clip as indicated. Settle lamp into place. Be sure lamp is fully settled into place on all sides.




12. Re-Assemble Lamp Module: Replace Lamp Retainer, Lamp Leads, and Lamp Boot. Position the back cover back into place from over the lamp boot, being careful not to displace or pinch the lamp boot, and secure with four screws. Position the side panel back into place, and secure with the two remaining screws. Position the mounting plate and secure with the two Allen screws.

13. Inspect the lamp module lens for debris or fingerprints. If necessary, carefully wipe the lens clean with the provided lens wipes, and then carefully wipe the lens dry with the provided Kimwipes. Do not apply a portion of the wipes more than one time to the surface of the lens.

14. Slide the lamp module assembly back into the SP8602 projector lamp housing, secure with the two captive Phillips screws, and replace the lamp access panel with the two Phillips screws.

15. Enjoy the amazing SP8602 home theater projector without the worry of lamp costs!
