Policies & Service Guidelines

Our server provides web hosting to thousands of clients, and we have a responsibility to protect each client and provide the best services available. The following guidelines were designed to insure these services:

Content
All services provided by ablaze Website Hosting and associates may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States Federal, State or City law is prohibited. this includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade secret and/or other statue. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold harmless ablaze Website Hosting and associates from any claims resulting from the use of the service which damages the subscriber or any other party.

Note: Pornography and sex-related merchandising are prohibited on our servers. This includes sites that may infer sexual content, or Link to adult content elsewhere. ablaze Website Hosting and associates will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.

In addition any site selling or promoting Bulk email services is not allowed

Examples of non-acceptable content or links:

  • Pirated software
  • Hackers programs or archives
  • Warez Sites
  • Irc Bots
  • Mp3

    ablaze Website Hosting & Associates will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision

    CGI - System resources
    You are allowed to freely install cgi applications, but because of the negative nature of some scripts (very few), we reserve the right to disable any program or script that adversly effect normal server operations. We will contact you if there is a script that is causing problems.

    Chat Rooms
    We do not allow clients to install their own cgi chat rooms. These tend to be large system hogs and we cannot allow it as an account option. However, we do provide Java chat rooms for a small extra charge that will more than fill your needs and run without hindering the performance of the machine for others.

    Background Running Programs
    We may allow programs to run continually in the background. These are considered on a one-to-one basis and an extra charge will be incurred based on system resources used and operational maintenance needed. If you have a background running program, we can check the progam prior to incurring any additional charges and let you know what the extra charge would be.

    IRC
    We currently do not allow IRC or IRC bots to be operated on our servers.

    Commercial Advertising, E-Mail
    The sending of unsolicited email (spamming), from an ablaze Website Hosting or associate server or using an email address that is maintained on a ablaze Website Hosting or associate machine is STRICTLY prohibited. ablaze Website Hosting and associates will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.

    Server Abuse
    Any attempts to undermine or cause harm to an ablaze Website Hosting or associate server is strictly prohibited.

    All Sub-Networks of ablaze Website Hosting or associate Sub-Network and dedicated servers must adhere to the above policies.

    Any terms or conditions that fail to be followed will result in grounds for account deactivation.
